The 4th International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE2021) was successfully held in Chongqing from April 23rd to 25th, 2021.The conference is co-sponsored by Chongqing University, IEEE and South Asian Association for Science and Engineering (SAISE). The conference aims to provide a platform for academic exchange among experts and scholars from all over the world, presenting the latest research achievements in the fields of energy, electrical and power engineering. More than 230 experts and scholars from China, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany and other countries and regions participated in the conference through online and offline methods.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yang Zhifang. Start of the ceremony, Prof. Xie Kaigui, Advisory Chairman of the Conference and Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University, delivered the opening speech. He introduced the history and achievements of the discipline of Electrical Engineering in Chongqing University. After that, Chairman of the Conference, Professor Yu Juan from Chongqing University, gave a welcome speech, expressed her thanks for the cosponsors and her sincere wishes for the conference.
During the keynote presentation, Prof. Leopoldo Garcia Franquelo from University of Seville, Spain (IEEE Fellow), Prof. Zhu Jizhong from South China University of Technology (IEEE Fellow), Prof. Zhai Qiaozhu from Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Chairman of IEEE PES Chongqing Branch, Prof. Yu Juan from Chongqing University each gave wonderful reports. In addition, excellent young scholars gave invited reports.
The conference also organized paper presentation, campus tour of Chongqing University, and visits to the State Key Laboratory of Transmission Equipment and System Security, providing great opportunities for in-depth communication among teachers, students and technical experts from enterprises. At the conference, the award of "Best Young Scientist", "Best Paper", "Best Field Paper" and "Best Student Paper" were presented.
